Lydia Chaffee

I grew up in the Bay Area of sunny California, with a Caucasian father, Chinese mother, and older brother and sister. As a homeschooling family, we engaged in adventures like camping and backpacking in nature, and crafting, cooking, and reading at home, all of which I still enjoy doing. Sunday worship and mid-week Bible studies have always been a prominent part of my life. I enjoyed four eventful years studying at a Christian university, where I met a cheerful LDi recruiter and eventually applied and accepted the position at YHIS. I am thankful for this new adventure that combines my love for children, music, and Chinese people and culture.
